In early 2014, a small group of spirited and like- minded people from various part of India came together. They strongly desired to make a difference in the lives of the underprivileged ones. Not by just feeding them but by educating & training them, empowering them and increasing their self-reliance.

– by showing them the way with humble beginnings and high ideals, “ANF” was thus born !

Objectives of the Organisation

Facilitate the needy so that they can stand and fight for their rights and basic needs.
Train and Empower tribal, Schedule castes, BPL, minority, vulnerable, marginal group, women and children of the society to facilitate a dignified life.
Empowering the youth of the weaker and poorer section of the society by giving them the opportunity to upgrade their knowledge and enhance skills.
Sensitize active and powerful group to become change agent and channelize their energy in a constructive way to fill the gaps.
Transform problem/situation into opportunity/ learning and leading to execution.

Support

Environment

Working on social causes, one cannot neglect the environment! ANF has participated in several environmental projects. We are also working on projects that preserve and strengthen indigenous knowledge of biodiversity and local medicinal plants.

Community Based Rehabilitation

Health camps and community based rehabilitation programs have been conducted in the very same region where education and training projects are ongoing to complete our goals.

Scholorship Program

ANF has its scholarship program for meritorious village school students. This program encourages individual, families and corporate to initiate such scholarship in memory in of loved ones and to promote educational environment among the students to better performance in their studies.

Women Empowerment

Despite the day and age that we live in, women in these areas still lack independence in society, be it financial or social. ANF works towards creating ways for these women to be self-reliant and be “empowered”. We facilitated women’s self-help groups in these villages by working out a sustainable means of income generation and also set up governance, bringing about monitoring and accountability. We are promoting entrepreneurship among women, across many projects, continuously exploring markets for their wares.

Mathematics (Geometry) with demonstration

ANF, for many years, has been working with the schools in Prayagraj, Pratapgarh and Amethi of Uttar Pradesh. We have supported them with facilities funding by the Govt. of India. ANF built a new dimension of STEM learning in the remote villages of Eastern part of Uttar Pradesh. The support for these schools is ongoing and there are several projects planned for the coming years. Training centers had been established in impoverished areas.

Content Reuse

ANF started promoting usage of informative, effective and reusable educational content. We identify or create quality content that can be used by primary and secondary school children. This is done along with other NGOs – initially as a pilot and then replicated at many other places. ANF provides English education material, which is a big advantage for many of these children in their career. These materials have been distributed among the needy students of schools in rural areas of Eastern Uttar Pradesh.

Our Funding Partners

ANF works closely with several grass-roots level NGOs for knowledge and technology sharing. Funding is mainly through projects sponsored by GOI and Corporates under their CSR respective CSR contribution.
